Terms of service

Who we are
Quiet Money (quietmoneyapp.com and the Quiet Money app) is operated by Quiet Money, 1800 N Field St, Dallas, TX 75202, United States. By using the site or creating an account you agree to these terms.
What Quiet Money is — and is not
Quiet Money shows public regulatory filings as they were filed: US House periodic transaction reports, SEC Form 4 insider purchases, FINRA short interest, and the German and Swedish net short position registers. It also shows figures we calculate from those filings, and rules-based indicators that summarise them. Each is labelled, and the methodology page explains how they are made.
Nothing on Quiet Money is investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell anything, a rating, a price target or a forecast. Decisions you make with the information are your own.
Accuracy of the data
The filings come from third parties and can contain errors, amendments or late submissions, and our reading of them can be wrong. We link every item to its source document so you can check it. We do not guarantee that the data is complete, correct or up to date, or that the service is always available. If you find a mistake, write to hi@quietmoneyapp.com and we will check it against the document.
Your account
You need an account to follow stocks and receive alerts. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it at any time on the web or in the app — how to delete your account. We may suspend an account that is used to attack the service, scrape it at scale or break the law.
Free and Pro
Reading the site is free: the filing feed, the rankings and every stock page. A free account can follow up to three stocks and gets one alert email a week. Quiet Money Pro adds an unlimited watchlist and faster alert emails: a big change on a stock you follow is emailed on the first sweep after the filing reaches us, and smaller changes come together in one daily email. We describe what Pro includes on the Pro page; we do not sell features that do not exist yet.
Payment, renewal and cancellation
Pro on the website is billed by Stripe, monthly or yearly, at the price shown before you pay, including VAT where it applies. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time under “Manage billing” on your watchlist: the next charge is stopped and Pro stays on until the end of the period you have paid for. If we change the price, we tell you by email before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then. Subscriptions bought in the Android app are billed and cancelled through Google Play.
Refunds and the EU 14-day right of withdrawal are set out on the Refunds and cancellation page, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.
Using the content
The filings themselves are public records. The way Quiet Money presents them — the text, the calculations, the indicators and the design — belongs to Quiet Money. You may use what you read for your own purposes and quote it with a link back. Do not copy the site or its data in bulk, or use automated tools to scrape it.
Liability
We are not liable for losses that come from relying on the data or on any indicator, or from the service being unavailable, except where the law does not allow such a limit — for example for harm caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or for injury to life, body or health.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change affects a paid subscription, we email you before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
