What we collect
If you join the waitlist we store your email address, which version of the page you saw (A or B), an optional referral tag from the link you arrived on, and the date you signed up. We also store a salted, one-way hash of your IP address purely to throttle signup spam — the address itself is never written down and the hash cannot be turned back into it.
Why
To send you the weekly Quiet Money digest, which is the thing you asked for. The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. There is no profiling, no advertising, and your address is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
How long
Until you unsubscribe, or until the project is wound up — whichever comes first. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all sending immediately.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or withdraw consent at any time. Email hi@quietmoneyapp.com and it will be handled. You may also complain to your national data protection authority.
Processors
The site runs on Vercel and the waitlist is stored in a Neon Postgres database. Vercel Analytics collects aggregate, cookie-less page view counts and does not identify you. The only cookie set is a single first-party cookie recording which version of the page you were shown, so you keep seeing the same one.
